Which benefits qualify for First Time Central Heating grants?
In order to qualify for the UK government First Time Central Heating scheme 2022, only those in receipt of certain benefits will fit the criteria to claim Central Heating grants.
Note: If you received ECO grant in the past you will be unable to claim it again.
You must be a homeowner or a private tenant. If you are a private tenant, we will request contact details for your landlord to obtain their permission.
Your property must have never had central heating system and/or haven’t got ‘a warm air or blow air’ heating system.
Your current heating must be on either Electric, Fossil (Coal or Wood) or LPG Fuel. Gas or Oil heated properties do not qualify for this particular grant. Instead, you may want to apply for a replacement boiler grant here.
